(Sayings of the Dhamma)

Bāla
(Unwise)

69. Madhuvā maññati bālo
The unwise thinks (of it) like honey

Yāva pāpaṃ na paccati
as long as the evil does not ripen

Yadā ca paccati pāpaṃ
but when the evil ripens

Atha bālo dukkhaṃ nigacchati
then the unwise experiences suffering
