Dukkha (Suffering or Dissatisfaction?)

Dhamma Q and A by Bhante Dr. Gangodawila Chandima.

Answer

It seems the Pali word "dukkha" has been constantly interpreted to mean suffering. But the true meaning of the word "dukkha" is dissatisfaction.
Therefore, the real meaning of the word changes its understanding in its entirety. This is the reason why there are numerous ideas about Buddhism being pessimistic.

Tqvm for clarifying the true and accurate meaning of Dukkhā. That is the reason why many people have the wrong view & preception that Buddhism is always about suffering. Mettā. 💕💖💞
