Renri was the day human beings were born, according to Chinese beliefs, and as such, the day is dedicated to celebrating everyone's birthday. As part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, the Chinese would make lucky meals to ensure continuing wealth and prosperity. Everyone, happy birthday!

  Dear Folks, Patisota is pleased to present Grace Chan En (Malacca, Malaysia) to sing "贺新年" for the Chinese New Year 2023. This will go live tomorrow at 2 p.m. (KUL) on January 22. More than a billion people will celebrate the start of the Year of the Rabbit on Sunday, from mainland China to South Korea and Malaysia. The date of the Lunar New Year varies from year to year because it is calculated using the Moon's orbit around the Earth, but it is always celebrated sometime between the end of January and the beginning of February.
