Please join host Bhante Dr. Chandima as he interviews Aruni Marapane who will share with us some insights on how we can cope with grief and loss.
Aruni Marapane earned her MSG (Masters in Gerontological Studies) from Miami University in Ohio, USA. As a Buddhist chaplain of VITAS Hospice and UC Health, West Chester Hospital, Aruni provides spiritual and pastoral care to patients in long-term care facilities, hospice, and hospital settings. She also specializes in providing therapeutic massage for the elderly and dying, healing touch practice, and grief support facilitating. Her mission is to ensure that no one dies without the love of those around them. In this capacity, she travels to communities to teach and raise awareness of the sacredness of hospice care. Aruni is a local of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
