(Sayings of the Dhamma)

Appamāda
(Diligence)

24. Uṭṭhānavato satimato,
Energetic and mindful,

Sucikammassa nisammakārino;

Pure and considerate in action

Saññatassa ca dhammajīvino,

Restrained and who lives according to the Dhamma,

Appamattassa yaso'bhivaḍḍhati. 
Diligent, Glory grows for a person who is
