Appamāda
(Diligence)

29. Appamatto pamattesu,
Diligent among the negligent,

suttesu bahu jāgaro;

Wide awake among the sleeping

Abalassaṁva sīghasso,

Advances like a swift horse

hitvā yāti sumedhaso.

(The Wise one) leaving a weak one behind.
