Maṅgala Sutta
(Blessings)

10. Gāravo ca nivāto ca,
Respect and Humility;

santuṭṭhi ca kataññutā;

Contentment and gratitude,

Kālena dhammassavanaṁ,

And timely listening to the Dhamma teaching:

                                                     

Etaṁ maṅgalamuttamaṁ
this is a supreme blessing.

11.Khantī ca sovacassatā,
Patience, being easy to admonish,

samaṇānañca dassanaṁ;

The sight of monastics,

Kālena dhammasākacchā,

And timely discussion of the Dhamma teaching:

Etaṁ maṅgalamuttamaṁ
this is a supreme blessing.
