チャンディマ・ガンゴダウィラ長老【著】 | Wholesome Unselfish Joy (Muditā) - The Buddhist Essential of Mental Health,” (Japanese) was published on Amazon today, August 8th, 2023. An impeccable Japanese translation was provided by the esteemed author, Yoshiko.
At the outset, I have engaged in a discussion pertaining to the differentiation between joy and Muditā. The word Muditā, as the title suggests, has been rendered for the first time as Wholesome Unselfish Joy. Muditā is frequently translated and described as unselfish joy without the characteristics of wholesomeness (kusala elements). The Book is the most recent to address a critical issue of how Buddhism deals with jealousy. In addition, it provides a thorough explanation of how we should view jealousy as a component of the Muditā practice. I additionally provide other different methods for experiencing the happiness of others without succumbing to feelings of envy.
