Metta Sutta
(Unlimited Friendliness)
Just as a mother at the risk of life
Āyusā ekaputtamanurakkhe;
loves and protects her child, her only child,
Evampi sabbabhūtesu,
so too for all beings
Mānasaṁ bhāvaye aparimāṇaṁ.
(One should) unfold a boundless heart.
