(Sayings of the Dhamma)

Bāla
(Unwise)

65. Muhuttamapi ce viññū,
Even if for just a moment a wise person

Paṇḍitaṃ payirupāsati;
associates with a wise one,

Khippaṃ dhammaṃ vijānāti
He/She quickly knows the Dhamma,

Jivhā sūparasaṃ yathā.
like the tongue (quickly tastes) the flavor of soup.
