Sammā Samādhi  Process- Ekaggatā  - automatic/natural Ekaggatā (one-pointedness)> micchā samādhi (bad/wrong side) Ekaggatā (one-pointedness)> sammā samādhi (good/right side) Sam ā dhi - concentration (good/right or bad/wrong). This is not samm ā   sam ā dhi , because samm ā  sam ā dhi only arises when you practice with the rest of the path factors (starting from the right view). Sammā Samādhi   - right concentration (concentration in kusala thoughts) Not automatic Micchā samādhi   - wrong concentration (concentration in akusala thoughts, including the mere practice of jh ā na without shifting to the Noble Eightfold Path or practicing/cultivating the preceding 7 path factors) Not automatic Without cultivating the previous 7 path factors, you cannot achieve  sammā samādhi , although the immediate factor that can help you to come to  sammā samādhi  is  sammā  sati . When we talk about concentration ( samādhi ), we use two Pali words:  samādhi   and  ekaggat ā . Both appear

The minimalist approach to the practice of Right Mindfulness (becoming a non-judgemental observer) and practicing the four parts of mindfulness just to the extent necessary for the overcoming of covetousness and grief for the world). That means Basically overcoming greed and hatred. That is why you are harnessing mindfulness. Harnessed to a good purpose. And as we reduce the roots of greed and anger, we also diminish our confusion and delusion. So these things work back and forth. They decondition each other. And right mindfulness is playing this key role. It is like a negotiator in a hostage situation. It requires great skills to negotiate. Mindfulness has to be present. Common Misunderstandings about Buddhism | Bhante Dr. Gangodawila Chandima @Klang and Coast Buddhist Association (September 10, 2023)

All Buddhists meditate. All Buddhists are vegetarians. All Buddhists are pacifists. Buddhism is both a philosophy and a religion.  Buddhism is athiesitc.  Learning Dhamma from commentaries and Abhidhamma.  All spiritual traditions, Buddhism included, are different paths to the same mountaintop. Buddhism is pessimistic. Impermanence Has Only a Negative Connotation. Buddhism Is a Form of Nihilism. Buddhist Ethics Are Based on Moral Judgments of Good and Bad. Buddhist Ethics Are Based on Obedience to Laws. Buddhist Ethics Are Humanistic — Just Avoid Harming Others. Buddhist Practice Means Merely Doing a Ritual Not combining study and practice.

Download Unwise Attention Here, bhikshus, an untutored worldling [ignorant ordinary person], who has no regard for the noble ones, unskilled in the way of the noble ones, undisciplined in the teaching [Dharma] of the noble ones, who has no regard for the true individuals, unskilled in the ways of the true individuals, undisciplined in the teaching of the true individuals, does not understand what states [things] should be attended to, what states [things] should not be attended to. Not understanding what states should be attended to, not understanding what states should not be attended to, he attends to states that should not be attended to, and does not attend to states that should be attended to.  And what, bhikshus, are the states that should not be attended to, but to which he attends? Bhikshus, there are those states that are attended to. where the unarisen influx of sense-desire arises, or the arisen influx of sense-desire grows;  where the unarisen influx of existence arises,
